SOMETIMES IT HARD TO SEE THE HAND OF GOD IN SOMETHING

Today I did a lot of crying, my heart is so heavy, it's aching. There's a big lump in my throat and my eyes are still puffy.

This morning I received a devastating news which I'm not at liberty to discuss just yet. So my blog will be rather short. For those who are waiting for a picture of my rug progress, I did some drawing on the burlap although it still  needs some touch up but today was just not a good day to work on it.

My design needs something to tie things together but it will come later. It will probably will be drawn free hand.

Today I met my son's girlfriend and she's real nice and I like her already. She actually a good friend of my daughter also. I also made some pesto pre-mix for the freezer and I only have another batch to do.

Thanks for for stopping by.  JB

  5. Sometimes we don't realize that people care about us "from afar". Julia, we have big shoulders and we offer them for you to cry on.
    I, too, appreciate your realness...............

I hope that today is much better for you and some of the grief has been lifted off your shoulders.

  6. Stumbled across your blog this morning. Sometimes God knows where prayer is needed and that's how I found you. Please know I am praying for you today. Though the sorrow may last for the night, joy comes in the morning!

I'm still very sad today and my eyes are still teary and my heart is still heavy. All this is because I care so much about one of my girl who is hurting so much so much at the moment, please pray for strength for her to endure what she must endure. Sometimes life cant throw us real punches that hurts. JB

  8. Julia,
I know from the short time I've been reading your blog that you are a strong person! I sometimes wonder too how we get through such tough emotional times. Rely on your friends, the old and the new. There is strength in numbers and I'm praying for soothing healing energies for you and your family.
    Hugs,
    Cathy G
