I'VE BEEN PLAYING AROUND WITH MY ROOSTER RUG.

I've been playing around with different photo enhancements  settings on my computer iPhoto program
Here is what it looks like in black and white. You can really see the different  color values .
Interesting how the red script shows up nice and crisp.

RASPY HAS FOUND OUT HE HAS A VOICE.

This afternoon as I was approaching the barn where the calves are housed I could hear a continuous bawling. I was wondering what was going on since today I was a half an hour early on my round.  As I came in I could see all the other calves lying down and Raspy was up and his head sticking out of his pen bawling away.
This is the first time I ever heard Raspy bawl. I usually fed him last because I had to spend so much time with him and he never seem to mind the least bit. But today he wanted to be fed first.  It's almost like he just discovered that he had a voice and was so happy to use it.  Of course he was the first one to be fed this afternoon.  You know what they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. He seems to be so proud of drinking from the pail. This folks, just makes my day.

Today I finally replanted some of my purple overcrowded Irises that I divided  the other day and couldn't deal with it in all the heat. I'm planning on finishing the flower bed border that I started the year before I got sick with cancer by digging the edge and removing the sod and installing  a landscaping fabric under paver bricks and a plastic edge border. My flower bed has become overgrown and now I must deal with it. I have a bad habit of overcrowding  my perennial plants but they look so small when I plant them.

My sunshine Rooster  rug is finally completely finished.
