Welcome Spring to Julia's world at last!...Yeah! Welcome Spring to Julia's world at last! I didn't realize how close you lived to the river. Your plants will survive. I never clean my beds until Spring and they do just fine. Hostas and daylilies are very hardy. I hope all the rest of the snow goes away quick. It good to see trees budding. We're getting a bit more green every day. I may plant peonies this year. I have a good spot for some. Thanks for the idea! Take care...I'd say "don't work too hard" but I know you and that is just your nature and necessity of farm life. yayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12047536332780197024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6876827638819064500.post-54700423875957712392015-04-18T23:55:40.861-03:002015-04-18T23:55:40.861-03:00Julia-- it won't be much longer before all you...Julia-- it won't be much longer before all your trees and flowers will be budding. I've planted peonies, well roots of them last fall, so I'm excited to see how they've weather through the harsh winter. It's good seeing the buds on the trees, soon they too will fill with leaves. This is one of my most favourite times of the year, the other is Fall. The life & times of our seasons are truly a miracle & stimulating to our senses, visually & spiritually. Don't overdue the yard work Julia, slow & steady to make you fast & ready! Your days are so full now with your farm & keeping up with all those duties. I don't know how you do what you do but I do enjoy visiting your blog. I still chuckle when I think about the first time I was reading your blog & you were 'Marilyn Monroe' in a birthday cake. lol Love you sense of humor!
I'm hoping that river stays tame, water can really cause damage & inconvenience daily living.
I'm heading east to my cottage in 26 days! I'm hoping it will be dry by then, muck is so messy. lol
Hugs,
CynthiaKyrotimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07328503785870363796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6876827638819064500.post-21317239790760889812015-04-18T21:30:26.737-03:002015-04-18T21:30:26.737-03:00I was in capri pants today and burned up all day. ...I was in capri pants today and burned up all day. The riding mower won't start and it isn't just the battery as last fall it was back firing and sounded like an explosion. So all I have now is the push mower and the power wheels have stopped working so it is truly a push HARD mower. Got one side of the yard cut, came in to cool off and will go back to hopefully finish the other side of the yard.

Good riddance to the damn squirrel!Saundrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05442552781415793671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6876827638819064500.post-14888269600892048452015-04-18T11:00:36.372-03:002015-04-18T11:00:36.372-03:00I am so glad to see spring at your house!
