This year ours was M.C. Escher - 1000pc. It to was challenging & our youngest son & his girlfriend put it together with little help from Bill & I in 4 days. I love your idea of using the plates & we're going to try that next year as we're always looking under the table to see if any loose single ones have fallen off.
Today is going to be a very snowy one for both of us. I'm so happy to have Bill home till Sunday to plough me out.
Your soup & biscuits look so yummy & I love the soup tureen! So glad to visit & find you enjoying the season.
Wishing you & yours only the very best in 2019!
Hugs,
Cynthia Kyrotimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07328503785870363796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6876827638819064500.post-20822934630690166622018-12-31T22:17:14.572-04:002018-12-31T22:17:14.572-04:00Happy New Year my friend,

I will be staring on one in the near future. Hope you can get photos to share of the waxwings soon. My feeders are staying full of several kinds of birds. What a lovely bowl, I do love piping hot soup to where I blow on it. Semi warm doesn't cut it for me so I can see how your tureen would come in handy in that department. As for puzzles, I absolutely love them. I just finished one that I started before Christmas, actually after Thanksgiving. Its a mystery puzzle where you read about a mystery and then finish the puzzle to solve it. The clues are hidden in the puzzle. The hard part is they don't give you a picture of what the puzzle looks like so really, its all about sorting colors. I like the owl one you're working on. Glad you have something to work on while the weather figures out what it's going to do.
