DID YOU HAVE ENOUGH?

As I sit here at my computer, I can hear the rain coming down hard. I think that I've had enough for a while.  Maybe we won't get much snow this winter. Who knows.

My birds have returned as soon as I filled the feeder. The chickadees have been flocking around in numbers  even in the rain. They don't seem to mind and there's a constant feeding frenzy around the feeder. They grab a sunflower seed and fly back to the hedge. I even saw a cardinal too today. I can see the seeds level going down in the feeder and must buy more seeds for the winter. I still haven't gotten around to clean the others bird feeders.

I took my camera out in the rain today but managed to only take a few pictures at the feeder and was called to the farm.  The chickadees don't stay very long at the feeder. They are very difficult to photograph.  JB

  1. Wouldn't it be nice if the rain was like the chickadees and didn't stay around long? Lol

  2. I can't believe it is still raining. Has it been since Friday? You got a picture of the chickadees though, rain or not. I do imagine you are starting to think Ark. Maybe it will be just rain and no snow. :)

I do love your birds! So is London Wul near you? If it is you are so very lucky. I think maybe I need to move. :)I have always wanted to live near Prince Edward Island. Anne would go to New Brunswick. Sorry my Geography is so bad.

  3. Yes Kim, I agree, it would be nice... Is it still raining where you are? I'm beginning to feel like a wacky duck. My back has been aching since I woke up this morning and I even walk like a duck. Lets keep our fingers crossed for some clearing tomorrow. JB

  4. Farm Girl, I'm not sure when the rain started but it feels like for ever. London-Wul is about an hour and a half drive from here. I was there this past winter for the first time. It's a beautiful store near Moncton, New Brunswick.

Anne of Green Gable is situated in Prince Edward Island. My son in law comes from PEI. It's a very beautiful place. Maybe you will be able to visit it some day. JB
