JULY ARRIVED ALL HOT AND SWEATY...

I've noticed that as I get older, the temperatures are either hotter or colder than when I was younger and the time is ticking away faster too... Is it really happening or is it just my perception?

I've been putting off  blogging as it seams that it's just a repetition of what I've blogged before.  It's been so hot that by the end of the day, it requires an effort to even think. Nothing much news worthy.

Today, I decided that I had to put some efforts in cleaning calf pens as much as I hated to get started. It's very heavy work cleaning out wet bedding. I had been putting it off since I got that cold but I think that I got my energy back today. I've also been scrubbing 7 calf pens minus the gates. That will be for tomorrow. The pens are all nice and white and sanitized. My finger tips are hurting this evening as I'm typing, from all that scrubbing, in case you want to know that .lol.

I came home at 7:40 pm and showered and got into my baby-doll PJs and had a bite to eat. So far, nothing blog worthy....

On the garden front, I have some photos of some of my flowers before  Hurricane Arthur arrives.

I had an extra recycle bin so I planted some pole beans just for fun. My house needs some painting...

One of my many Peonies, notice the pot of cucumbers in the upper left corner.

Is my clematis being eaten by slugs? I found 6 fat slugs sleeping under the foliage and no sight of any earwigs.

A rosebush I planted in honor of my dad is blooming and I have another one for my mom which is not doing as well for some reason. I might have to move it to another location.

My Sundrop or Evening Primrose. I took these photos as the sun was going down.

Dianthus growing on my rock wall

and Mother of Thyme

and Sedum Acres

I can't remember the name of these but they're hardy as hell. They also grow on my rock wall.

Happy 4th of July to my American friends.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and leaving a comment. It really feels like you came to visit.
