HOW CAN IT BE, THE WHOLE BIBLE ON ONE PAGE?

Today has been a super busy day for me  and I didn't had time to take pictures of my pepper plants and my begonias seedling like I had planned, maybe tomorrow, so instead I thought that  I would give you a link that shows the whole  Bible on one single page. This site was sent to me by my sister Delcina.
I hope that you will find it as awesome as I did.

You can click on any chapter and read the verses.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.  JB

This engadget site that you just added to your comment is very impressive indeed but can you and I access it at the click of our computer mouse and find the bible passage that we are looking for? JB

  9. I went to look at the link you posted. It's kind of disingenuous for them to call it "the bible on one sheet of paper". That implies that it was printed on a single sheet of paper, which it is certainly possible to do. But the site linked to would be more accurately described as "A single screen hyperlinked table of chapter contents of the bible", which is drop dead simple to create. Time consuming to type the text, but simple to execute. Though with a paper copy on your desk, there's not a lot of added value to the online version.

And here I thought you had discovered a piece of typographic eccentricity. Putting it all on the head of a pin; now that's some fancy work.

  10. Ok anonymous you have made your point but I'm really not into splitting hair. From my humble point of view, I'm appreciating the work that went into giving us access to the whole Bible from one sheet of paper via our computer. It's obvious to me that someone made this a work of love.

Having access to it with a click. To me it's very user friendly and simple. JB

  11. Julia, setting your starter sponge in a warm place to rise is the right thing to do. You need to have the container covered but the sponge needs to breathe. I put plastic wrap over my bowl and punch holes in the plastic so the yeast can enter and the sponge can breathe. If you did not do that - that might be your trouble. You should have bubbles and rising in 6 to 8 hours. After 12 hours it should smell "yeasty." Be sure to use a pottery container. Not metal.

    That is a great site.

  13. Julia I do not stir my beginning starter until it has sat about 8 hours. I let it do its natural thing all by itself. A quart glass jar is an ideal container. I happen to collect pottery since I like to cook in it and have a special pot I use for my starter. I can see how the metal bowl would get to hot and destroy the yeast also I think something in the metal may deter the yeast. Do keep trying it is really worth it. I have some wonderful receipes that I use all of the time. It makes the best waffles! Please let me know how you make out.
