I 'm so glad that I don't have to complain about the rain anymore ... for a while anyway. The wind is drying things up and the sun shone a little today although it was cold. More sun and clear sky for the next couple of days. Hooray!!!
I noticed that my Christmas Cactus plants were budding by the window on the north side of the house. Christmas can't be far away.
Today I've worked on my Childhood Memories rug and added a tree to the design and I started to work on the summer scene to take a break from working on the snow. I may have an update tomorrow. I'm not rushing this project as it is tedious and the design just develops as I go because I can't visualize much at a time. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I always enjoy your comments even though it's only a few words. When we have so many blogs to follow it's difficult to find enough time to leave comments on every one. JB
THIS BLOG IS ABOUT MY WORK, MY HOBBIES AND MY EVERYDAY LIFE. IT A WAY OF STAYING CONNECTED WITH THOSE WHO MATTERS TO ME. YOU CAN VISIT AND LEAVE COMMENTS OR JUST VISIT IF YOU WISH. THANKS FOR VISITING AND COME AGAIN.

DID YOU HAVE ENOUGH?
As I sit here at my computer, I can hear the rain coming down hard. I think that I've had enough for a while. Maybe we won't get much snow this winter. Who knows.
My birds have returned as soon as I filled the feeder. The chickadees have been flocking around in numbers even in the rain. They don't seem to mind and there's a constant feeding frenzy around the feeder. They grab a sunflower seed and fly back to the hedge. I even saw a cardinal too today. I can see the seeds level going down in the feeder and must buy more seeds for the winter. I still haven't gotten around to clean the others bird feeders.
I took my camera out in the rain today but managed to only take a few pictures at the feeder and was called to the farm. The chickadees don't stay very long at the feeder. They are very difficult to photograph. JB
