It's raining today so I decided that I would use some of that time to dismantle a wool skirt and a two piece gray flannel suit for my wool stash.
This is the second day of my blog genesis and I'm discovering how to do things I didn't know before but my blog is still very plain but a little bit better than yesterday.
My little baby bull calf is not doing very well because the delivery was difficult and he got some lung issues. and wouldn't eat. Now I'm told another cow is calving so my ten calf pens will be full. Never a dull moment on the farm. No pics today.

You know I was thinking about your little baby calf this morning. I know you have your hands full. Do you have chickens? I've always dreamed of living near the mountains with chickens, my dogs, and a garden with a fishing hole nearby.
ReplyDeleteStash - mine is growing! I bought one black wool sweater at a nearly new shoppe and took it apart and washed it and I think it will actually work. The fabric has no wool yet (100 degrees you know), but soon. Also I will have a reason to go to yard sells again. /Deb

ReplyDeleteI don't have any chicken but we have a herd of 140 heads of dairy cattle. We have 70 milking cows and approximately another 70 replacement head. Some are cows waiting to calve, some are pregnant, some are heifers and older calves and young calves.
I'm in charge of the younger calves and the older calves. I have another one born this afternoon and now all the 10 pens in the nursery are full.
I live right beside the beautiful St John River but I don't have any mountains around.
