I STILL CAN'T UPLOAD PHOTOS ON MY BLOG

I tried to upload some photos on my blog this morning and I still get the same message. In the mean time I'll be bottling my wine today. And I just may drink the over flow.  I have 23 1 liter bottles and they told me to bring an extra one for the remainder.

I've been cleaning calf pens and I need a shower.  JB

  1. That is so funny, drinking the overflow, It is still 7:25 AM so that would be a tad bit early if you lived here. I wonder why or how can you go to the help section and see if anyone else was having this problem? I will ask my girls since they are way more computer savvy than me.

  3. OMG I am laughing out loud. I am picturing you in your farm stall cleaning clothes, with a funnel tipping back the wine jug!!!! Somedays wine for breakfast is necessary. I needed a big laugh today. Seems everyone at my workplace went crazy today (or maybe its just me...)
I hope that message was legit but it stills seems a little odd to me. Keep us posted.

  4. Hi Kim, I'm glad that you are laughing because I'm still without photo upload. If I could, I would go to the barn with my jug and get my husband to take a picture of me tipping the jug.
I would not have mined if I got 24 hors notice before they cut me off. I got my wine bottled and the overflow is about 2/3 of a liter and I feel like getting it down. It's so frustrating. JB

  5. Thanks to Katie, I tracked down Three Pixie Lane blog and quite a few bloggers commented that they also got that message about having to purchase space to upload photos for $5.00. I don't feel so alone anymore. JB

  8. Hi Julia,You poor thing! At least its for real but I wonder if this is a new thing their doing. I use Picassa and then I make my pictures smaller before I put them on my blog. I never have paid anything for using their service. Cheri

  9. Hi Christie, Welcome to my blog. I'm glad to have you as a follower. I'm still unable to upload any pictures on my blog with Picasa Album and I'm still waiting. I hope that it's not a scam. However I was able to upload a picture of my rug in progress on Rug Hooking Daily on my page with no problem.

Doris, I hope that I can sort this out. In the mean time I can always write. My overflow bottle of wine is looking better every passing moment. I'll think of you when I pour myself a glass this evening. JB

  10. Cheri, I never paid for Picasa before either. I've been using them because I had difficulty uploading pictures when I joined Rug Hooking Daily and I had no problem uploading my pictures after that. I don't make my pictures smaller though. I don't mind paying $5.00 if it works. It could be a scam, one never knows until it's too late. JB

  11. Yes, I am in the group, but I am a brand new hooker. I have done one hooked rug and one that I used my Oxford punch needle. But today I got a box from someone who wasn't going to hook any more and she sent me her wool and backing and her wool cutter and stand and oh my gosh, so now I can do it, I couldn't find wool here in California so that is why I did the Oxford punch needle. I am there but haven't uploaded pictures because well, you know, I am in the shadow of giants. :) I will go check out your rug though on there.

  12. Oh Kim, I'm so glad for you. How lucky for you to get a cutter and hooking supplies. Don't be shy to show your punch hooked rug on RHD. You are not alone. There are other punch hookers on that site. Now, I can't wait to see a picture of what you got. If you don't want to show it on RHD, show it on your blog for all of us to see. Get your camera out ,girl. JB

  13. I'm curious, why do you need to have it stored on a particular site? When I want to post a photo, all I do is choose the photo from the site on my computer.

  14. Qulting Fitzy, when I first joined Rug Hooking Daily forum I was having difficulty uploading photos on the site and a Picasa window popped up and offered help to upload my photos. At first I didn't know what it was and looked it up briefly and tried it and my photos were uploading without any difficulty. I've never had any problem until I ran out of free space. Since I didn't reduced the size of my photos I used all my 1 KB of space. I guess Picasa is for people like me who don't know much about computers. JB
