  6. I enjoyed reading your answers to the questions this week.

We were fortunate to have been with two of our daughters this Christmas, and all of their families. There were 21 of us in all. It was such fun but I didn't get one single pictures taken. I hope others did because I would like to get some copies. Just imagine, not having any pictures of our 2011 Christmas.

I can tell you right now, I am not going to bake any cookies next Christmas. The way I feel right now, I won't be baking anything much for a long time. Oh yes, I just remembered, I have to bake my chocolate cake and a coupld of pies for our New York New Years Eve party. I still have dozens of cookies in my freezer.

I hope we all have a Very Happy New Year!! I have so enjoyed getting to know you, Julia. Love to you..........Darlene

  9. I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing your grandson and had that special time. Did you get the book yet? I mailed it just a few days before Christmas, so the mail must have been slow.
    Happy New Year!

  10. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to have a grandchild- we can't get Breezy and BestSonInLawEVER to get started- even her sisters are trying to get her motivated. LOL They almost bought her a little baby shirt that read: My auntie bought me this shirt. LOL

  13. Funny how hard it is to take photos when you're really having a good time. And a new grandson can definitely bring a lot of enjoyment. Best wishes for the New Year!

  15. Julia, I did not bake one cookie this Christmas and I lived to tell about it. It seems this Christmas was a little off for most people, I don't know why, but it was. I am still enjoying my Christmas tree and ourdoor lights. How lucky for you to have a new grandson to share the season with. Happy New Year to you my friend, Julie.

  16. what a great idea....porchside chats:)
glad you enjoyed your time with family
and grateful to hear someone else didn't take many photos either! Too busy with relating
when I'm around people...just don't take the pics
some folks seem to do so well. I guess it's like
chewing gum and walking....not too good at multi-tasking.
Bright hope to you for a wonderful new beginning
    right around the bend,
    Jen
