LATE NIGHT VISIT ON PATRICE'S PORCH

I've been getting behind in my comments on my favorite blogs and I've been trying hard to play catch up.
I'm only three days late for visiting Patrice of Everyday Ruralty and I think that everyone has gone home  by now.

Would you come along with me so I don't looks so stupid being all by myself. I doubt that she will want to come out on the porch while the June bugs are flying around, but I'm knocking at her door as I see the light inside. Maybe she'll  invite me in...

Here were her questions for this week.

1. What are you doing for memorial Weekend?
Work We had a long weekend last week and it was Victoria Day Weekend in honour of Queen          Victoria.

2.  What is the last old movie you saw?
It's been so long I can't remember but I watched some Carol Burnette DVD movies on my computer.

3.   What colors are the walls of your living room?
    A pale sage green .

4.   What's your favorite food to cook on the grill?
Steak and sweet potatoes. I love any kind of food on the grill.
5.   What's your favorite animal?
Right now it a tiny abandoned kitty that I'm caring for called Victoria. She is doing fantastic and love to be fed and love to be put in a heated bed after feeding and she purrs and knead her little front paws in delight. She quiet right down as soon as she feels a little heat through her blankets and goes to sleep.

I hope that you've enjoyed stopping by for a quick visit and left me a comment.    Have a safe Memorial weekend to my American friends.  JB

  2. Sweet Julia you my friend could never look stupid. lol
Of course we will come along we like it when you tell us about yourself.
I am so glad Victoria is doing good. I just came in from trying to make sure the only kitten left is safe for the night. I would love to bring her inside but then her momma would cry all night so I bought a big carrier for carrying dogs in the back of a car. I think it is safe enough but who knows living in the country.
I am working this weekend too because I am behind out here on the North Forty.
I need to visit and catch up with friends too on here and do a post. Where honey do the days go.
As busy as you are I know where yours go. lol
Anyway I am rambling so time to get off here
    Love ya

  3. I'm coming with Maggie. Wouldn't we have fun. Don't work too hard over the week-end. I am so excited to be leaving tomorrow for 10 dys with my kids out West. What a chore to get ready to leave and I don't live on a farm like "you all". You both have a great week-end. Throw some fun in there.

  5. I am so glad for the update on your little kitty. I am glad she is doing so well.
I liked all of the questions on your chat. Cooking on the grill is such a nice thing to do. My grand mother said though she hated cooking over the grill, she did it too much growing up and to her it just wasn't fun. I always think about that.
    Have a lovely weekend Julia.

  10. Aw so glad to know Victoria is doing well ... little thing.

I'm sitting in Homer drinking coffee and eating a Montana muffin ... haha ... That's what they call it ... Looks and tastes just like a wonderful carrot/raisin and nut muffin to me ... but then what do I know.

In a heavy rain waiting for the Road to the Sun to open at Glacier National Park .... So am I going to wait around Kalispell until June 15?

Waiting for me to make up my mind .... HAH! is how I'm spending Memorial Day weekend.

That making up my mind business takes up a lot of time .... especially when there are so many bakeries to help.

Worthless .. I think I might feel guilty shortly about that .... right after a fresh made cinnamon roll ...

    Worthless

  12. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Memorial Day gives us a chance to thank our soldiers and honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Tomorrow we'll have a parade, a cemetery visit and a little cook-out here at the pines..have a good week and hug that little kitty!

  13. I would love to see the paint color on your walls. Sage green is my absolute favorite color in the world.

You are such a sweetie to babysit a kitty! A picture of that would be sweet as well.

Fun to learn more about you.
