I just came upon this and as I watched I had tears in my eyes. Enjoy. JB
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and so touching!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julia.
You always want to cheer on the underdogs in these shows. But he was certainly coming from a place that was harder to crawl out of than most of the underdogs I see on these shows. And if you've never seen the movie "The Mission", which is where his song came from, then you need to see it. Powerful story and the best cinematography of any movie ever shot. And the soundtrack was by Enio Moricone, and it's just superb. Awesome stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou had tears in your eyes and mine are over-flowing!! So glad you shared this...it was just heart-warming!!
ReplyDeleteGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing story. It warms my heart and makes me believe in life's grace when I see someone emerge from such struggles and create beauty.
