I thought that I would post some photos of my two youngest grandkids, James and Daniel. My daughter sent me some photos last week and I've decided that I better show them to you right now before I procrastinate some more.
James is sporting his first hair cut. He was so terrified to get his hair cut. Mom and Dad did everything possible to get him to get a hair cut at the barber. He watch daddy getting his hair cut several time but as soon as it's his turn, he freaked out so he'd go back home with his long hair. This time Mom and Dad took the clipper and did the job wether he approved of it or not and reward him with this new battery operated car. Not really a bribe but it arrived at the right time. He looks so pleased. First he wanted Mama to get in the back seat with him which was impossible so he settled for Brazen the 16 years old cat. She looks rather uncomfortable.
I hope to have a cow and calf story of my latest adventure on next post but I haven't taken any pictures. I may just post it without pictures.
Until then, stay safe and have a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteOh, they are so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the cat riding in the back seat!
I know this is a busy time of year for you...well, on a farm you're ALWAYS busy, but spring is more so.
So if you dn't get to post as often, I'll try to be patient and look forward to your stories and pictures when you have some free time.
Hope spring is bringing out some of your beautiful flowers!
Hi Julia,
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing photos of those sweet boys! A first haircut is a precious moment to be savored! Did they save a curl or two?
Life is way too busy these days and I can imagine the farm life is keeping you entertained! :-)) I'll look forward to some calf/cow stories also when you get time! Thanks so much for posting when I can imagine you'd much rather be sleeping!! LOL!
As always your comments on my blog are lovely and I thank-you so much!!
Your friend from the frozen land of Wisconsin!

Cute little fellows!! Love the cat riding in the back seat!!!
ReplyDeleteYour littles boys are so sweet! They are really growing quickly, too.
ReplyDeleteBrazen looks like my Maggie P.! Hugs.
Ah he has a mini cooper. So cute!!! And Brazen looks so miserable but so cute in the back. Grandbabies are just the best aren't they? What with Meredith being a girl she is 2 and still not had a hair cut. That is one good thing with girls I guess. I know what you mean about being busy. And then me getting the flu was sure not part of my plans, at least it held off until after the family was here, and no one else came down with it, thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteA shiny new sports car and a handsome hair cut! Way to go James! Daniel looks so cute too!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are these two babies! You know I love love when you post pictures of James and Daniel.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that cat is sitting in the back seat like she knows thats where she needs to be at that moment. lol
The hair cut story sure brought back memories of my two boys at that age. I remember taking them over a 100 miles so their great grand parents could be there for it. Boy did they pitch a fit in that barbers chair.
I laughed when I read the hectic part isn't that your middle name. You know your the hardest working lady I know.
Have a wonderful week! Hope the weather is pretty for you.
It is cloudy and wanting so hard to rain today. I saw where we have a good chance every day so this may be a no sunshine week.
The pink cottage could come furnished if I wanted them too but I have too much furniture so I would want to take some of mine. As you can see how close the house is to the main house that is what will probably keep me from doing it plus did you see the dozen or more flower beds and how neatly their kept trimmed I can't do that. lol
Love
Maggie
Hello Julia,
ReplyDeleteBrazen does look like she's had better days.
I can't get over the fat rosy cheeks of that grandbaby. Just perfect!
Always fun to see photos of your family! Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi,Julia, my Dear! So, so sweet!! Such fun being a Grandma, isn't it? ♥ Thank you SO much for all your delightful visits and sweet comments for me...I swear, I am so behind! I decided that this evening was for me and I was going to sit down and make time to write and visit! ♥ Our youngest, Jonathan, graduates in 3 weeks and it seems like every day lately is just wild...and he takes care of most of it himself! (But I stress!) Tomorrow we have to see his advisor at the university about this fall's schedule...and this weekend is Senior Prom! I guess I just need to settle down and make more Fairy Houses...;) (I am seriously having TOO much fun with those...)Oh, I meant to tell you about those poscards...they aren't on a DVD, they are just ones I have collected over the years, plus scans a collector-friend always sends me...let me know if you'd like for me to send you the files on any particular ones! ♥
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, my friend!
