I meant to post this before but with me deleting 24 of my latest post I decided not to but today when I saw this photo, I thought that I may as well post it for posterity, lol...
Here, George is removing some black enamel paint from his watch with my Nivea moisture cream and he also removed the paint around his eyes with this and he used butter to rub off the rest of the paint from his face and leg.
By now you're probably wondering how he got sprayed. No, it's not what you're thinking. I didn't do it. He did that all by himself.
George is like a bull in a china shop and this is his barn adventure. He was lifting a heavy bag off the big desk in the entrance of the milk house and someone had put a can of black spray Enamel Auto Body paint near the edge and George knocked down the spray can and the tip must have been knocked of somehow, I'm not sure... but the can went ballistic.
It sprayed the door, the ceiling, the milk tank, the floor, three bag of special feed for dry cows, the floor, his jacket and pants, not to mention George. hahaha. There was a strong paint odor when George walked into the house. Luckily, it all came off without using any strong chemical.
I wasn't going to post this photo in his boxer shorts but George is a good sport and said, "oh go ahead". I don't know, maybe it would be a good photo for a paint commercial. Hahaha.
Stay safe and happy and thanks for visiting.

oh, gosh! runaway rebel paint can! :) made me laugh, but glad it all came off easily!
ReplyDeleteOh my.....that can went wild! Thanks to George for being a good sport and posing for the blog. It made me giggle
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! And I thought Julia was the one who always gets into trouble! LOL! Glad it came off with butter and Nivea! Hats off to George for letting you post his photo! Are you sure he didn't do it on purpose to get featured on your blog Julia! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSeriously... it must have been a little scary watching a can of paint go wild! Hope the barn cleans up as easy George!
Hugs for you both!

George is a very good sport -- it must run in the family. I, too, am wondering how the paint got up his pant leg. Keep posting -- the adventures on your farm keep me smiling. Sarah
ReplyDeleteWhat a mishap! Were you able to use the feed after the paint spattered on the bags? George had to be truly patient to get all that enamel paint off of him! I didn't know Nivea cream would work.
ReplyDeleteToo Funny and hes a good sport! I thought those kinda mishaps only happened to me! Enjoy your evening Julia!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! That's really funny and very sporting of him to let you post this! It reminded me of when Mom fell when painting her stairway and the can of oil paint landed on her head. The hospital employees used butter to get it out of her hair before surgery. Not one of Mom's best memories!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I'm glad it came off...he's a good sport!!
ReplyDeleteOh poor George! What a mess. And what a good sport! I am glad it all came off. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Yikes. Well, at least he was a good sport about it. Sometimes you just have to laugh!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Paint can gone wild!
ReplyDeleteGlad he was able to clean up with the Nivea cream and butter. I've always used turpentine and the cream and butter sounds like a much better solution to the problem.
Wow it looks like it really sprayed him. Poor guy, that stuff is so hard to get off too. I normally look like that whenever I paint anything. I always look like I took a bath in it.
ReplyDeleteHow nice of him to let you post. That is very sweet.
What a mess that sounds like. I have never heard of removing paint like that. Glad it was as easy to get off as it was and he didn't have to use chemicals. George is a good sport to let you post him in his misplaced mascara. lol Hugs!
