The cool weather and the rain is making my crabapple blossoms to last a lot longer this year. They are so beautiful that it brings a smile on my old face. I took this picture yesterday when the rain stopped for short time.
I love those blossoms. Just can't get enough of them.
Isn't Mother Nature grand. Thank you Mother Nature, they are beautiful.
My daughter picked, clean, blanched and froze 6 bags of nice fat fiddleheads for me. Now that brings another smile on my greedy face.
I've been begging for a genuine smile from Daniel. Today my daughter Christine sent me some photos in an email. Now that's a genuine smile and it's catchy because it has caused me to smile the biggest smile of all. Thanks Christine.
Here's another one for good measure.
Seeing updates of James also is cause for smiling. Hope his dad has picked up playing his guitar again.
It's good enough for another smile. I hope that my post has caused you to smile on a dreary day. I Hope that you are keeping dry.
My blogger friend Kim is celebrating her birthday today and that should make her smile. It does me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kim. http://milliesmat.blogspot.com/
Having 142 followers is cause to smile too. Thanks for visiting and keep on smiling.
Happy Memorial Day on Monday to my American friends.

Always love looking at your pictures. Babies and flowers make me smile too!! Grandchildren are the best. Lots of rain here in Rhode Island, so I won't be getting out to weed and plant either. Enjoy your weekend, Julia!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful blessings! A baby smile is always contagious, isn't it? And your garden is coming along nicely. Ours is small but tenacious - we, too, are getting lots of rain this Spring but so far the veggies continue to grow. Have a great weekend, Jan

Julia- I am so jealous over your garden plot-- it's just wonderful!! I could be so happy digging in the dirt there. Your crabapple tree was glorious this year-- those blooms are my favorites.,
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed- beautiful precious grandbabies-- it's the best thing in the world to be a grandma!!

Wonderful smiley post for sure! We need some of that rain. I love the sun, but we're behind in moisture. It's been cold with freeze and frost warnings. I haven't even planted a veggie yet..good thing because they would have gotten frostbite last night. Your garden looks perfect and so do those cute Grandkiddos of yours. Our Memorial Day should be warmer and sunny so I hope to finish the last of my outdoor projects. I'll plant next week when it's suppose to get warmer. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, Grandkids are the best!!! I love your garden and I wish we had some rain.Everything looks so green. Hugs Cheri

ReplyDeleteYou have a bunch to smile about- including that sweet little baby!
ReplyDeleteThose crabapple blossoms were lovely! That's cool that you have such a nice garden. I get so weary pulling weeds out of my family's potted plants, that I can't imagine weeding a whole garden. Good for you for being able to keep it so pretty! With such blooming flowers too!
